The Sapphire Saxophone Quartet was formed in 2004 by four good friends who also play together regularly with other groups, including the Yorkshire Saxophone Choir.

Based near Bradford, West Yorkshire, they have already given a wide range of performances across the north of England, ranging from participation in formal concerts to providing the background music for many wedding receptions.  The selection of repertoire is also wide to cover these different settings, encompassing styles such as Baroque quartets (such as those often performed by a string quartet), contemporary works written for sax quartet, together with many differing styles inbetween, such as jazz, blues, rock, pop, and many more.

Please feel free to browse this site to find out more about the group, including background information on each player, gig listings and more.  If you would like to book the quartet for your concert or wedding then please do get in touch.
